DIRECTOR TOM RYSER

After mime school in London and Circus School in Switzerland, he became a classical actor. (Conservatory of Music&Theatre Bern) Then he started to direct shows: modern circus, dance theatre,
classical theatre and a lot of crossover.
Recently he has worked more and more on huge outdoor projects with big crowds of actors and singers. He adds beautiful machines - excavators, helicopters, boats etc - because he believes that they are alive.
For example:
Expo 2002 «Ausfahrt Aargau» Excavator ballet with 700 people,10 Bands, orchestra, and 3 helicopters.
Theater der Welt 2005 «Singing River» based on the idea of Marie Zimmermann,
a ballet with 12 boats, 700 singers, locomotives and cranes in Stuttgart harbour
in collaboration with Orlando Gough.
